The Johnson County Museum is located at 135 N. Main Street, just a block away from the Historic Artcraft Theatre and down the street from the Johnson County Courthouse in downtown Franklin, Indiana. Admission to the museum is free of charge. The building is wheelchair and stroller accessible. If you require elevator accessibility, please enter from the parking lot door on the north side of the building.

The museum is also home to the genealogy and local history library on the lower level. The library contains a wealth of research materials, many of which are original documents.
Guided tours as well as facility rental for meeting groups are available upon request. Please contact the museum three weeks in advance to schedule tours or rentals.
